Scots woman who abused tot to make cash for online paedophile called ‘Daddy’ jailed
Abigail Kikke, 27, was jailed for six years today for sexually abusing a two-year-old in a bid to make money from paedophiles.
Kikke assaulted the child and distributed indecent images of children, including her victim.
Judge Lord Sandison said: “Some cases, however, retain their ability truly to shock and this is one of them.”
Family of four including two children in serious condition in hospital after Ayr explosion
A family of four are in hospital following the explosion of their home last night in Ayr.
A man, woman and two boys were rushed to the hospital where they remain in “serious condition”.
Emergency services were called to the blast at Gorse Park in the Kincainston area of Ayr around 7:10pm yesterday.
TUI cancels all flights to Spanish destination as travel warning issued to holidaymakers
Airline TUI has cancelled all flights to La Palma due to an ongoing volcanic disruption.
Flights were cancelled up until November 3.
The airport in La Palma on the Canary Islands was forced to close numerous times due to volcanic ash in the air.
What is new ‘Delta Plus’ Covid variant as experts monitoring strain in Scotland
A mutant of the Delta variant known as ‘Delta Plus’ is being carefully monitored by the UK and Scottish governments.
Delta Plus currently makes up six percent of Covid infections.
A new briefing notes that Delta Plus cases are on an “increasing trajectory” and that further investigation is underway.
Hit-and-run driver who left ‘wonderful, happy’ boy for dead in street jailed
A hit-and-run driver who left an eight-year-old boy unconscious on the road as been jailed for two years.
Anthony KcKenna struck the boy with a grey BMW in June.
The boy suffered from severe brain injuries and airlifted to hospital.
