Strictly fans furious over judge change as BBC slammed over decision

Strictly Come Dancing is back on our screens – and fans are absolutely gripped.

However, there have been a number of controversies so far this series, including the vaccination status of some contestants.

Despite controversies and the Live Show being cancelled last year, the show is back with a bang and viewers can’t stop watching.

But a recent decision for the Live Show has some fans not happy.

On this season’s Strictly, Anton Du Beke has replaced Bruno Toniolo on the judging panel due to the flamboyant Italian being stuck in America due to coronavirus restrictions, reports YorkshireLive.

However, Strictly have announced he will return for the Live Tour by joining Shirley Ballas and Craig Revel-Horwood on the panel.

The news was announced on social media earlier this week but it hasn’t gone down too well with fans who believe Anton should have retained his place in the line up.

One wrote: “I would rather you kept Anton for next years show. He is brilliant.” Another said: “Love Bruno but I love Anton more. He’s a tonic & Dosent faff (sic).”

One Strictly fan wrote: “Please keep Anton best judge Bruno can stay in USA”, with another posting: “Bruno is old news. Anton is a breath of fresh air. He must stay on the TV show.”

Another one of the comments on the feed said: “I’m really hoping Anton stays on the judging panel now. Bruno drives me mad with all his stupid antics.

“Leave him in America and let Anton carry on with the judging. I know it’s the tour but I think Anton should have the first choice in that as well.

“However this year I know he is touring himself but in upcoming years give him the judging role.”

One also said: “Please BBC listen to the people and keep Anton he is so constructive with his comments.”
