Gogglebox viewers were left in tears at the end of this week’s episode of Gogglebox.
The hit Channel 4 show was back for a celebrity version on Friday night as stars including Mo Gilligan, Ashley Banjo and Perri Kiely came together to give their views on the best TV shows.
They were watching show including Changing Rooms, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, Married at First Sight UK and also BBC News reports on racism in football.
But at the end of the show producers left fans sobbing as they paid tribute to two cast members who have recently passed away.
Graphics at the end of the show paid tribute to Mary Cook and Andy Michael.
Andy starred on the show with his wife Carolyne and children Louis and Alex.
He passed away aged 61 at the end of August.
The tributes were dedicated to ‘In Loving Memory’ to the two TV regulars.
Viewers said they had been so touched by the emotional tributes that they broke down in tears.
“Ending of Gogglebox got me in tears. RIP Mary and Andy,” one person tweeted.
Sean Riley wrote: “Lovely to see tributes at the end of Gogglebox to the people who have passed away. Wish Question of Sport had done the same for studio manager Sinead Sweeney #notforgotten”
And Michelle added: “Lovely tribute memorial for Mary and Andy. Gone but never forgotten #Gogglebox #CelebrityGogglebox”
Gogglebox returns to Channel 4 for a new series on Friday September 17 at 9pm.
