Take That songwriter and former X Factor judge Gary Barlow has unveiled his new wine, and it’s only £8 a bottle.
The singing star unveiled his two organic wines on social media, serenading a glass of plonk as he did so.
Available in simply red or white, the wine bottles have piano keys on the label, hearkening back to the singer’s roots.
Described as ‘the perfect duet’, the wines are 100% organic and are available on the singer’s website.
On it, Gary describes more about his love of wine. He commented: “Spain has an extremely special place in my heart – it’s a land of firsts for me – the first time I left the country for a holiday, the first place Take That ever played in outside of the UK and now my first wine!
“I’ve been back to Spain many times with the band and also to spend more holidays there with friends and family. So, when I found myself most drawn to Spanish wines while researching for my own range, it felt like the perfect, natural fit.”
The red wine is described as an ‘organic red blend from Spain’s Central Castille’ and is made in collaboration with Peninsula Vinicultores.
The site says it is ‘a juicy, unoaked wine, displaying aromas of red wild berries with a touch of rosemary and chocolate’.
The white wine on the other hand, is described as being more fruity.
“This organic white blend is pale and bright in colour, displaying aromas of lime and pear, cut by a gentle note of anise,” the website claims.
Fans and other celebrities rushed to show their support to Gary on his Instagram page.
Wine critic Olly Smith wrote: “Magnificent! Looking forward to tasting!” while Boyzone singer Ronan Keating commented: “Where’s my case? Congrats brother.”
