Alex Jones stuns fans with sweet photo of new baby – and they can’t get over one detail

Alex Jones stunned her fans as she shared a sweet photo of her newborn baby girl – and they couldn’t get over one detail.

The One Show presenter gave birth to her daughter on Saturday, August 21.

In a new photo posted to Instagram, Alex shared a black and white photo of her cuddling her newborn after breastfeeding in the middle of the night.

The mum-of-three captioned the sweet photo: “The night shift. Emergency workers, supermarket staff, cabbies, factory workers, lorry drivers, D.J’s, fellow breastfeeders. Whatever your reasons for being awake through the night, I’m thinking of you.”

But her fans couldn’t get over the newborn’s hair.

One wrote: “Gorgeous bubba, and the hair!”

A second said: “What a beautiful little head of hair she has. Magical days now …. And magical years to come.”

“Her hair!” one fan gushed, adding a love heart eyes emoji.

A fourth fan wrote: “Look at all that beautiful hair – many congratulations.”

A fifth said: “Bless her! My younger daughter had a mop of dark hair like that.”

The BBC presenter has previously taken her daughter out into the world for the first time on a trip with her big brothers Teddy and Kit.

Sharing the news of her daughter’s birth with fans on Instagram, the TV presenter wrote: “We have some news………Our beautiful daughter came safely into the world on Saturday afternoon 21.08.21.

“Tiny, but perfectly formed we are all beyond happy and besotted by her, especially Ted and Kit. Watching them with their brand new little sister is just the best and we can’t believe how lucky we are to have the 3 of them and to be a family of 5.

“It still doesn’t feel real!!! Thank you to everyone at the Queen Charlotte hospital for all your support again, especially super midwife Audrey. Name will be incoming soon xx”
