The Chase fans stunned by player’s resemblance to EastEnders’ Kat Slater

The Chase viewers couldn’t help but notice that one of the contestants was a doppelganger of EastEnders star Jessie Wallace.

The contestant, named Andrea, is a makeup artist from Harrow in northwest London and was the first person up on Thursday night’s show.

Unfortunately, the 45-year-old lost out within a round when Jenny the Vixen easily beat her within minutes.

Although many of the comments were about how quick the makeup artist went on, most were focused on something else.

Fans said she looked like EastEnders’ Kat Slater (played by Jessie) and joked the iconic character ha jumped ship to ITV.

One shocked fan took to Twitter to comment: “kat slater? You are all watching itv yea?”

“Kat Slater ain’t doing too well,” another fan mentioned while another said: “Kat Slater on the Chase.”

Fans noticed a resemblance to Jessie Wallace

One Twitter use shared a picture of Andrea and posted: “Can’t believe Kat Slater is actually on #TheChase.”

“Is that not Kat Slater from EastEnders….” another user said, following the same pattern many viewers did.

Andrea had opted to take a low offer during her time on the show so she could get back to her seat safely.
