Piers Morgan took to Twitter to call out Prince Harry and Meghan Markle yet again after it was claimed the pair had thought about naming the royal who reportedly made racist remarks about their then-unborn child
Piers Morgan has branded Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “gutless weasels” and demanded that the pair reveal the member of the Royal Family who they claim made a racist remark about their son Archie.
The former Good Morning Britain host, 56, took to Twitter to slam the pair after a report said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had considered naming the royal in their explosive chat with Oprah Winfrey in March.
However, the pair opted against making it pubic knowledge – something Piers was less than happy about.
Piers posted an image of the Daily Mail’s story which featured a report of revelations in an updated unauthorised biography of the royal couple.
Alongside the image he blasted: “Go on then, you gutless weasels – name the supposed Royal racist and let them respond.
“Otherwise you continue to smear the whole family.”
It was the latest in a string of outbursts by the presenter towards to pair. He also called on the pair the make the announcement when he appeared on Extra TV in the US.
The first time he hit out at the pair came in the days following the Oprah interview.
That outburst eventually led to Piers leaving his role on the ITV breakfast show.
He sensationally stormed of the set of Good Morning Britain following a heated debate with weatherman Alex Beresford.
The pair became embroiled in a bitter row over whether or not Meghan was lying about receiving racist comments and Piers left the set live on air before leaving his role after the show.
The Mail reports that a leaked epilogue from an updated version of Finding Freedom, which is due to be published next week, claims Harry and Meghan had considered naming the person involved during their interview which was televised worldwide.
It also reportedly claims that Prince William was “furious” about the couple outing their issues on air, while Meghan is said to have found the experience “cathartic” and “liberating”.
The book also claims that palace courtiers were plotting against the couple and feeding the media with lies about Meghan and Harry not seeking a title for Archie when they did actually want to have the option.
Another factor that is said to have come under the microscope in the biography is Harry’s finances.
It’s believed that the book claims Harry and Meghan “wouldn’t have survived” if they didn’t have the money the prince inherited from his mother Diana, the Princess of Wales.
