Biographer Tom Bower, who is currently writing a book about Meghan Markle, says she needs to talk to her dad and brother if she wants them to stop speaking out about her
Meghan Markle has been urged to communicate with her dad and her brother by a royal biographer to stop “skeletons in the closet” emerging.
Meghan has had a strained relationship with her father Thomas and the pair have not spoken for almost four years after it emerged he staged a photoshoot with paparazzi just before her wedding to Prince Harry.
In a recent interview on Good Morning Britain, T homas branded her ‘childish’ and ‘silly’ and said he would keep speaking to the media until he hears from her.
He also claimed that Meghan had “changed” since meeting Harry saying she had never cut him off before.
And now Tom Bower, a biographer who is currently researching and writing a book about Meghan, says if she wants her family to stop talking about her, she needs to reach out to them.
He told Closer magazine : “She and her father had a very different relationship – growing up, they were really very close. She was really family-orientated when she was younger, but she seems to have completely erased memories of that and disowned him. Similarly, she cut off her ex-husband when her career started taking off. She seems to me to be a very ambitious, unforgiving person.

“But I think, much to her dismay, more will come out. I think Thomas is keeping some things back and that he has a lot of embarrassing stuff on her. There are skeletons in the closet and, when provoked, I think the secrets could all come out.
“She needs to stop the men from her past doing this to her. So if she wants this to stop, she needs to communicate. It’s what should have been done years ago; Meghan should have communicated with her father, in person or over the phone. She seems to be hoping he’ll just go away, but he won’t!”
Bower also added that he believed Harry and Meghan have “totally isolated themselves”, which made it sad for them and their children Archie and Lilibet.
It was announced earlier this year that Bower was writing a book about Meghan that he says will “tell the truth”.
He is one of the country’s most well-known biographers, having released in-depth unauthorised life stories of famous figures like Richard Branson and Boris Johnson.
Bower also isn’t a stranger to writing about royal figures as he released Rebel Prince: The Power, Passion and Defiance of Prince Charles in 2018.
A source previously told the Sun : “This is the book Meghan will be dreading.
“Tom doesn’t pull his punches and is terrifyingly thorough in his research. No stone will be left unturned.”
The announcement of his book about Meghan came just shortly after Harry revealed he would be releasing a tell-all memoir about his life next year.
The memoir is set to be “the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him,” according to publisher Penguin Random House.
