McDonald’s customer attacks staff after being refused a three-flavour slushie

A McDonald’s customer was caught on camera attacking two different staff members in a spat over a multi-flavoured slushie.

The woman reportedly asked for a mix of three different flavours in her slushie at the McDonald’s restaurant in Ravenna, Ohio, US.

But when staff told her they couldn’t fulfil her request, she started losing it, jumping behind the counter and violently attacking staff.

The now-viral video shows the customer, identified as Cherysse Helena Cleveland, throwing punches and slapping staff in the face as she can’t get what she wants.

A woman viciously attacked McDonald’s staff over their refusal to make her a three-flavoured slushie

Billie Allen, who filmed the incident during a breakfast run on Monday, told US news outlet Cleveland19: “I heard her ask for a slushie with all three flavors mixed into one, whereupon the manager informed her that they could not do that, and she became increasingly irritated and combative and decided that she would go behind the counter and fix her own drink.”

“I was concerned that she may start hurting somebody so I started recording in case law enforcement needed the tape for any kind of evidence of the assault,” he said.

Cleveland can at one point be seen punching one of the workers before she seems to show some remorse and says: “Sorry, I have been up all day.”

But that doesn’t last long as she rips off a worker’s face mask off right after and repeatedly calls staff “b****”.

The woman then walks to the soft drinks dispenser to fill her cup up with ice – only to throw it at staff and attack them once more.

One of the workers can be seen dragging the suspect to the ground and trying to restrain her in self-defence.

Cleveland was arrested by police who arrived at the scene. Her bond was set at $1,000.

A judge has also ordered she must never return to the McDonald’s in question.
