Amber Davies has split from her boyfriend Nick Kyriacou just six months after declaring she’d finally found “The One”.
The Love Island star, who won the 2017 series with her then-boyfriend Kem Cetinay, started dating Nick a year ago and had compared their romance to a fairytale, with pals saying she was convinced she’d found her happy ever after.
Sadly, the relationship has now come to an end.
But a source tells the Mirror that Amber, 24, and Nick’s break up was completely amicable and that they remain good friends despite their romance not working out.
An insider had told The Sun: “Earlier this year she landed the lead role in the musical version of Bring It On and she has loads of jobs lined up which will keep her mind off their break-up.
“Her friends know a catch like Amber won’t be short of offers but this has been really hard on her.”
After her winning stint on Love Island, Amber went on to pursue her dream of starring on London’s West End when she landed a role in Dolly Parton’s musical 9 To 5.
She’s since been cast in Bring It On, and recently shared her delight after landing her first TV acting role.
She’s been cast in CBBC comedy drama Almost Never alongside Pussycat Dolls’ Kimberly Wyatt and JLS star Aston Merrygold.
Sharing a snap of them all together on her Instagram account, she wrote: “I am over the moon to be joining the cast of @almostnevershow for their THIRD SEASON!!
“Feel so incredibly lucky to be doing my first TV Role with such a kind and wonderful cast & company!”
Her famous pals rushed to congratulate her on joining the children’s show, which follows the career of boyband The Wonderland as they cope with the challenges of fame.
Fellow Islander Olivia Attwood commented: “YES!!! So so so proud [four heart emojis]️ hard work pays off [four fist punch emojis]”.
“Yes girl smashing it xxxxx,” Jess Lever added.
While Olivia Bowen told her: “Unreal AMAZINGGGG!!!!! So happy for you”
Amber’s representatives did not want to comment when contacted by the Mirror.
