Faye Winter has shared her new job news working with Guide Dogs

Dog-loving Love Island contestant Faye Winter has announced her new job post-villa – and it’s absolutely adorable.

The social media star posed alongside a golden retriever on Instagram, and revealed to her 1.1 million followers that she has become a Campaign Star for Guide Dogs.

Before entering the villa, Faye had volunteered for the charity as a fosterer, taking care of guide dog puppies before they undertake their training, describing the role as ‘life-changing’, the MEN reports.

Announcing the new job news, she said: “I honestly cannot believe I have the honour of writing this, I’m delighted to say now as a Campaign Star for Guide Dogs we will be doing so many fun, exciting campaigns together (PINCH ME!).

“It’s my first project since leaving the villa and I’ve had some amazing meetings with Guide Dogs discussing how I can support them in the future.

“This for me is why I’ve been given my platform! I hope together we can continue changing lives all over the UK!

“I would never of(sic) believed this would be me when I signed up to be a volunteer four years ago! It’s going to be amazing and my proudest achievement to date and the best part is you can all join in!”

She added: “Watch this space for further details on what I’ll be doing with them.”

Faye’s fellow Love Island stars were among the first to heap praise on her over her new role.

“A cause you love so much, and have already contributed so much too, time to take it to the next level girl,” Georgia Townend said.

Amy Day added: “BRB. Currently crying. Well done Queen.”

“Queen of doing things her own way,” reality star Vicky Pattinson added.

Mrs Hinch also commented: “Amazing Faye.”

Fans were also quick to comment, with one writing: “Absolutely amazing that you chose your first campaign to be for a charity, and an amazing charity at that. Love that you use charity shops and are using your fame to improve the lives of others.”

Another shared: “OMG YAY!!!! Love this for you Faye!!! What an amazing thing to do!!!”

A third added: “Now that is what you call an ‘influencer’.”

The 26-year-old was part of the ITV2 dating show’s summer series and she didn’t have the easiest of times.

Faye, who was a lettings manager before she took part in the show, was subjected to thousands of complaints from viewers after explosive outbursts whilst in the villa.

But she and Teddy Soares emerged as a fully-fledged couple and finished the show in third place.

The pair have since been enjoying life in the real world, splitting their time between London and Faye’s home in Devon.
