Love Island conspiracy as fans spot something suspicious about ‘missing’ Salma

Eagle-eyed Love Island fans think bombshell Salma Naran has gone missing from the villa suggesting the shot of her in bed last night was just a pile of pillows

Love Island: Salma doesn’t appear to be in her bed at Casa Amor

With all the drama that’s about to blow up on Love Island, newbie Salma would be forgiven for making a run for it after fans claim she wasn’t in her bed during last night’s show.

In grainy footage which showed Salma’s bed and her name on the night-vision screen, suggestions have been made that it was in fact just a pile of pillows under the covers and not the 20-year-old model.

One fan suggested: “I’m convinced it’s just a pile of pillows. Salma is back in ends.”

Another joked: “She’s definitely watching at home with the the rest of us.”

While another fumed: “I refuse to believe that’s her. That’s a pile of PILLOWS.”

Earlier this week, fans were convinced the Dublin native had “gone missing” after she failed to feature in hardly any of the Casa Amor scenes.

As the original male Islanders cracked on with chatting with the new bombshells, with bricklayer Liam Reardon angering fans as he pursues 22-year-old Lillie Haynes as partner Millie Court pines for him back in the villa, Salma didn’t appear anywhere to be seen.

“How are the Mandem just missing out on salma???? DO I NEED TO CALL SPECSAVERS #LoveIsland” one fan of the Irish beauty tweeted, while another quipped “Salma is still missing” during Tuesday night’s episode of Love Island.”

“Currently filing a missing person report for Salma,” a third viewer mused after the latest offering of the dating series.

Speaking prior to entering the Casa Amor villa, Salma, who did get one kiss from Hugo as part of a game, confessed she was hoping to find love for the first time while appearing on the reality TV show.

“I’ve never been in love. What better place to have tunnel vision and really find your one?” she told ITV cameras.

The model added: “I am chatty once I’m comfortable around you. I can be shy at times if I don’t like the energy. I do pick up on energy a lot. I don’t like confrontation.”

Unfortunately it looks like confrontation is going to be inevitable on tonight’s show if yesterday’s offering was anything to go by.

Love Island’s dramatic re-coupling on Thursday evening saw Abigail end up single after Toby strolled back into the main villa holding hands with Mary from Casa Amor.

Abigail had only recently partnered with Toby before he snuck off to the second villa with the rest of the boys.

Toby clearly wasn’t feeling loyal and cracked on with Mary and even shared a bed with her.

As host Laura Whitmore asked Toby how he felt about the fact that Abigail had stayed loyal to him, he looked rather sheepish.

“I dunno what to say at the moment, I’m shocked,” he replied. “I just thought it was early days.”

Love Island fans will witness the rest of the re-coupling during tonight’s episode and will be waiting with bated breath to see if Liam walks back in alone – or with Lillie on his arm.

Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2.
