Jesy Nelson admits she hasn’t spoken To Little Mix girls

The fallout between Little Mix and their former bandmate Jesy Nelson is about to ramp up the toxicity with the band’s new single.

The lyrics from Cut You Off, which is a bonus track on their greatest hits album Between Us, which is being released next month, have seen Little Mix seemingly launch a stinging attack on Jesy.

The cutting lyrics will fan the flames of a situation which is already prickly, with Jesy being unfollowed by her former bandmates due to a row over ‘blackfishing’ following the release of her debut single Boyz, which features Nicki Minaj.

In an Instagram Live session, Nicki called out Leigh-Anne Pinnock as Jesy watched on awkwardly, leading the former Little Mixer to lose over 50,000 followers along with a number of celebrity friends unfollowing her as well.

Now Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards have seemingly questioned the reasons why Jesy decided to quit the band last December.

Jesy had said that she left due to her mental health and that she couldn’t cope with being compared to the others.

In the lyrics to Cut You Off, Little Mix have challenged her reasons saying they don’t “believe” them and questioned whether she will be happier as a solo artist.

In the song, Jade sings: “Cause you don’t wanna listen, you got me so triggered.

“Can’t be mad about it when you handed me the scissors.

“Everyone’s got a limit, really pushed me there now I’ve hit it. Gotta cut you off.”

Perrie then sings in the chorus: “Someone tell me how, how did we get here? It used to be so good.

“Nothing lasts forever, but I really thought we could.

“I know there’ll be tears, but it’s worth a broken heart.

“If I can’t protect my energy, I gotta cut you off.”

Jesy collaborated with Nicki Minaj and P.Diddy on her debut single

In the second verse, Jade hints that there is no going back, singing: “Don’t think I believe ya, is the grass out there really greener? Are you happy now?

“I know you think you’re all that, it’ll be so sweet when you crawl back, but it’s too late now.”

It would seem that at a time when some calm and cold water needed to be poured on the situation, Little Mix are going to deliver the ultimate put down which could inflame the bad feelings once again.
