Aldi’s popular two-seater hanging egg chair is back this weekend

Eager shoppers hoping to get their hands on Aldi’s giant hanging egg chair could be in luck this weekend as the supermarket will be restocking the fan favourite

Aldi’s two-seater hanging chair is coming back this weekend online

Budget supermarket Aldi is giving shoppers another chance to grab their popular two-person hanging egg chair.

The sell-out garden seat will be available to pre-order online for £249.99 from Sunday 15 August, and it won’t be sold in stores.

Loved by the likes of Stacey Solomon and Mrs Hinch, when the large sized egg chair last went on sale back in July, it sold out in a matter of hours and customers were quick to express their frustration over being held in a queue online, only to find out they were too late to purchase one.

One bargain hunter said the chair “sold out in one minute”, with another adding that they were unable to purchase the item despite being “on the site at 8:02”.

The chair comes with a gorgeous grey cushion and a stand – so it’s ready to slot into your home or garden after a short assembly. And it can be easily packed away when the sun goes down or the cold nights roll in.

Aldi’s website states the chair as: “The ideal way to relax in stylish comfort this summer. Perfect for the patio or conservatory, this comfortable rattan effect hanging chair will be your seat of choice. Simply swing up your legs and make the most of that comfortable space! Pour yourself an ice-cold drink, grab a summer read and enjoy those long summer days and lighter evenings.”

The standard sized chair was priced at £149.99 and this slightly larger one is priced at £249.99.

This chair is still a bargain compared to other chairs that are currently on the market like this one from Wayfair, priced at £509.99.

The egg chairs soared in popularity after Mrs Hinch shared a snap of her similar B&M find on Instagram.

If you can’t wait until Sunday to get your hands on the chair, or are afraid of it selling out once again, we’ve spotted some other chairs on the market right now, which won’t break the bank.

This Argos egg chair really goes for it with the cushions, meaning you can retreat into your own little cocoon every time you settle into it. Best of all? It’s not far off Aldi’s price coming in at £250.

We’ve also spotted a similar chair on the Range, however it’s slightly more expensive at £299.99. The massive selling point about this chair is that it folds away, which makes it much really easy to store overnight.
