PETER Andre has taken a swipe at the Strictly stars who have been hit by show’s curse.
The singer – who is married to doctor Emily MacDonagh – took part in the BBC dance competition in 2015.
Over the years, a number of the famous faces and their dance partners taking part in the show have been hit by the “curse”.
Due to the harsh schedules, sexy dance moves and close quarters with their partners, their off-screen romances sometimes suffer as a result.
Peter said: “One thing that I’m sure will pop up again this year is the so call Strictly curse.
“I’ve always said that if you’re going to do something you’re going to do it, I don’t believe there’s a curse at all.
“I remember being asked about it when I was on the show and I remember saying that when both people respect each other and their partners it doesn’t happen.”
Peter and Emily met in 2010 and tied the knot in 2015.
They have to kids Amelia and Theo.
The Mysterious Girl singer also reflected on his time on the show seven years ago.
He added: “Seeing all the stars confirmed for this year’s Strictly always brings back fond memories for me.
“I loved being on the show and I learnt a new skill, but it was also the toughest challenge I’ve ever done and I was exhausted by the end.
“I’m looking forward to watching Matt Goss.
Peter and dance partner Janette Manrara were ninth to be voted out of the show in 2015.
