THREE CHILDREN attending a birthday party in Toronto were wounded by bullets after a shooter started blasting.
Four victims have been confirmed – three of them are children and one an adult who were all shot while attending the get-together, according to Toronto Police.
The townhouses on Tandridge Crescent and Byng Avenue in the Etobicoke neighborhood of the Canadian city were cordoned off at around 8pm with emergency personnel swarming the scene following the incident.
Several other patients are also being assessed at the scene.
The Toronto Sun is reporting that paramedics counted five people shot in the attack.
One the children being treated at a local hospital is suffering life-threatening injuries while another was also transported to a hospital with serious injuries, according to the publication.
A third child is also receiving medical aid for more minor injuries.
Their ages have yet to be confirmed.
