Fury’s outspoken dad John and his band of brothers are part of the heavyweight’s team – but his mum keeps out of the limelight
Tyson Fury has revealed his mum has never seen him fight.
Fury hails from a fighting family with brother Tommy and cousin Hughie joining him in the professional ranks.
And his outspoken dad John has been part of his team since he was released from prison.
But almost nothing is known about Fury’s mum Amber who has opted to stay out of the limelight during her world champion son’s career.
And Fury, who last year walked to the ring to the sound of h
is mum’s favourite song ‘Crazy’ by Patsy Cline, said: “I looked on Google the other day and there’s not one picture of my mother on the internet. That’s crazy isn’t it?
“She has never been to one of my boxing fights, amateur or professional and never been in the public eye at all. She’s a private person. That’s her priority, not mine.

“I don’t think it means anything to my mum. She doesn’t care if I’m world champion or not, as long as I’m healthy and happy. That is the only thing that means anything to her.
“You could give my mother that table full of £50 notes and diamonds and it wouldn’t change who she is, ever. Money can’t change certain individuals; nothing can. You could give her the power to run the UK, it wouldn’t matter, it wouldn’t change her.
“She is not interested in changing, at all. She doesn’t want to be a somebody, she doesn’t want to be anything that she isn’t already and that is what she has been all her life and brought up to be.”
Fury’s family will be ringside again tonight when he takes on Deontay Wilder for a third time with wife Paris flying into Las Vegas this week to join the already-assembled Fury clan.

“Everyone in the family plays a role and everyone here understands boxing because it’s what we have done,” Fury added. “We’ve been around small-time and big-time boxing all our lives, we’ve never known anything else.
“Shane knows what he has to do, Hughie knows what he has to do and Tommy knows what he has to do. Shane is here to make sure I don’t catch Covid again, because we can’t afford another fight not to happen.
“They keep reminding me every two minutes to wash my hands, to sanitise my hands. We don’t want another thing happen. Everyone knows their place in camp.”
