Some of the biggest summer transfer deals are beginning to gather pace.
A number of world-class stars could be on the move in the coming weeks, with Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Jadon Sancho among the players being linked with big-money transfers.
There was big news on Wednesday evening as Sergio Ramos’ Real Madrid exit was confirmed, with Europe’s elite set to battle it out for the Spaniard’s services.
But who could be on their way to the Etihad Stadium?
Mirror Sport have rounded up the latest transfer rumours…
City planning swap as part of Mendes move
City are believed to be tracking Sporting Lisbon full-back Nuno Mendes and are exploring the possibility of a swap deal plus cash for the 18-year-old.
Mendes made 29 league appearances as Sporting won the Portuguese top-flight last campaign, and the young defender is now in demand.
As the Sky Blues prepare to battle it out with other clubs to secure his services, Pep Guardiola is ready to offer Spaniard Pedro Porro to Sporting as part of a deal.
Porro spent this season on loan at the Portuguese club from City and was named in the Primeira Liga Team of the Season.
According to Portuguese outlet O Jogo, Guardiola will look to take advantage of this and include the 21-year-old in the club’s proposal.
Sporting’s asking price for the defender is understood to be £51million.
Ramos transfer stance revealed
Ramos is on his way out of Madrid, but a move to the Etihad appears unlikely.
The Citizens have been listed as a possible destination for the 35-year-old, though the Manchester Evening News have made clear that this is unlikely to happen.
It is claimed by the MEN that a move for a central defender will depend on the future of Aymeric Laporte but, even then, Ramos is not set to come into the equation.
City’s priority this summer will be finding a replacement for striker Sergio Aguero, who recently joined Barcelona on a free transfer.

Lukas Nmecha is on the verge of signing for a Bundesliga club.
The 22-year-old German striker progressed through the ranks at City and has spent the last three seasons out on loan.
His most recent spell at Anderlecht was a great success, scoring 21 goals in all competitions under the guidance of City legend Vincent Kompany.
According to Belgian outlet HLN, Nmecha has agreed join a club in the German top-flight – which remains unnamed at this stage.
Nmecha is under contract with the Sky Blues until 2022 but has made only three first-team appearances.
