Marks and Spencer’s denim has been a hot topic on social media recently.
High quality, sustainable and affordable denim that actually looks good doesn’t come around often, but Marks and Spencer have really hit the nail on the head with both their women’s and men’s ranges.
When the fashion retailer advertised the jeans on Instagram, however, shoppers were all laughing over one key issue.
The Instagram post shows model Ben James trying on black denim jeans from M&S’s collection as part of different outfits, but an eye-catching aspect of the jeans is all shoppers are talking about.
They’re very tight.
The jeans cling to Ben’s thighs and calves and he doesn’t look too comfy at all, though the different outfits he’s trying on with them look great.
In the ‘casual’ outfit he wears an olive green polo with the jeans. A ‘layered up’ look includes a white t-shirt and khaki overshirt, and a ‘date night’ look layers a blue knitted utility shirt over a white t-shirt.

Regardless of the range of looks offered, shoppers have taken to the comments just to laugh about how tight the jeans are.
“A bit tight?” commented one shopper.
“Jeans or jeggings, that’s the question,” said another.
“Gosh they look tight!!” said a third.
Another said: “I am sorry, I love your store, but this is a NO.”
