Here’s how to watch Viewpoint after show is axed due to Noel Clarke allegations

ITV have taken the decision to not broadcast the final episode of Viewpoint on Friday evening (April 30) in the wake of allegations made against the leading man Noel Clarke.

The actor was suspended by BAFTA, and his recent Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award was suspended, after allegations of serious misconduct which were published in a Guardian report.

Clarke has denied the allegations made by the 20 women through his lawyer.

A spokesperson for the television channel has confirmed the finale will now only be shown on ITV Hub, for two days, which will allow invested viewers to conclude the series.

An ITV spokesperson said: “ITV has a zero tolerance policy to bullying, harassment and victimisation and robust procedures in place to investigate and deal with any complaints. We strongly believe that everyone deserves to work in a supportive and safe environment.

Noel Clarke has been suspended by BAFTA following allegations of serious misconduct.

“In light of the very serious nature of the allegations against Noel Clarke raised by 20 women in the Guardian’s report, ITV has decided it is no longer appropriate to broadcast the final episode of the drama Viewpoint on ITV main channel this evening.

“We are mindful that some of our viewers have already invested four hours of their time over the past four nights in following this thriller which was due to conclude this evening, and they have yet to see the final episode.

“As such we plan to make it available on ITV Hub tonight for a limited time for any viewers who wish to seek it out, and watch its conclusion.”

Viewpoint follows the story of DC Martin Young (Noel Clarke) who sets up a secret viewpoint to watch a man who is under suspicion for being involved in the disappearance of his missing school teacher girlfriend.

Four episodes of the five-part drama have aired every night this week.

Viewpoint was scheduled to conclude the explosive storyline tonight but some fans have said they would not be tuning in to watch its conclusion.

It’ll Be Alright on the Night will now air on ITV in place of Viewpoint.

*Viewpoint is available on ITV Hub until Sunday night.
