Love Island: Liam kisses Lillie Haynes in teaser
Love Island star Lillie Haynes’s family has begged trolls to “stop the hate” after she subject to vile abuse for snogging Liam Reardon.
The trainee accountant, who entered the show in Casa Amor earlier this week, made her interest in Liam clear after he kissed her during a game of Truth or Dare.
The pair then shared a bed while Liam’s partner Millie was back was back in the main villa totally unaware of his behaviour.
On Thursday night, Liam kissed Lillie, but then told the other boys that he had “a lot of respect” for Millie and chose her at the recoupling ceremony.
After Millie and Liam’s emotional reunion, Lillie, 22, dropped a truth bomb revealing been getting very close to Liam in Casa Amor – – leaving his partner devastated.
Lillie was then dumped from the villa, and has since been targeted with abuse from angry trolls, who branded her “desperate”.
Her family who are running her Instagram while she’s in the villa, have now defended her in a heartfelt post.
It read: “Great to see Lillie going into the villa and dropping the truth bomb.
“Our girl went into this experience hoping to find a connection with a guy who felt the same way but unfortunately she didn’t find him.
“Just like every other islander Lillie was perfectly entitled to get to know everyone. Both Jake & Teddy made it very clear they wanted to return to their girls and slept on the day beds, so full respect to those guys.
“The other lads wanted to get to know the new girls, share their beds and kiss them etc.
“Only one person has behaved badly towards Millie and it most definitely was NOT Lillie.
“The truth will always come out … and probably sooner than you think
“Have your comments below as always and that includes Millie’s fans, we too like Millie but think hard before typing and who you direct any hate towards.
“Better still, Don’t hate #bekind and remember these are just a group of gorgeous young people enjoying the holiday experience of a lifetime for an entertainment TV show.
“They all want the same things, Love, Happiness, 50K, insta followers and the PLT deal you would be very naive to think otherwise.
“Have a great weekend everyone.”
Many Love Island fans rushed to the comment section to defend Lillie.
One wrote: “The hate and negativity HAVE TO STOP. It’s shocking it’s mainly young girls as well blaming the girl – get real and get a grip on life – it’s not Lillie’s fault – she played the game!! Millie would have behaved the same if she got sent into casa amor!
“She did an amazing job ! Not her fault Liam was moving mad, ” another wrote.
A third added: “To be honest as much as I love Millie, Lillie has done absolutely nothing wrong. She doesn’t know the girl and has absolutely no loyalties towards her. Plus it’s not like Liam was rejecting her advances anyway.”
