An Italian restaurant and cocktail bar is opening in a new West Lothian shopping outlet.
Work is well underway on the new premises and Ristorante La Campana & Cocktail Bar told The Courier today they will be ready open to the public on Monday.
The family restaurant had previously operated in Bellsquarry in Livingston since 2007 but they are excited to be moving to Murieston and bringing their blend of traditional and modern Italian cuisine with Scottish influences to the area.
The restaurant will be part of the new retail outlet, Barden House in Hamilton Square, with a nail and beauty salon opening at another of the units, and more are empty and available to rent.
Ristorante La Campana & Cocktail Bar will be open in Murieston from 12pm to 10pm, seven days a week, and will offer a variety of menus and extensive drinks list.
The estate agent Remax Property are currently advertising units at Barden House and say the high quality shops are in a perfect location.
They said: “Barden House has been carefully built using high quality materials and techniques, locally sourced when possible. The high environmental standards make it naturally warm in winter and cool in summer. The walls are built from Porotherm, an innovative chambered masonry block with excellent heat and noise characteristics, and one of the first buildings to be built in Scotland with this technique.
They added: “Murieston is a sought-after location with excellent local schools offering education from nursery through to college, all of which are within walking distance.
“Also, within easy distance, are the extensive shopping and leisure facilities that Livingston has to offer. With close proximity to the local rail and road transport networks for both Glasgow and Edinburgh which makes this location ideal for commuting.”
