EastEnders will air more dramatic scenes for Kim Fox in the coming months, as she is haunted by something from her past
EastEnders boss Jon Sen has revealed big scenes ahead for fan favourite Kim Fox this autumn on the BBC soap.
The show’s Executive Producer teased a “ghost from her past” would be back to haunt her, while exact details are under wraps.
It’s not clear if fans will be aware of the moment from her past, or if she is hiding something yet to be exposed.
But it seems there will be dramatic scenes ahead for the character, with the Truemans taking centre stage in the coming weeks.
Praising actress Tameka Empson, Jon said viewers would see just how brilliant she is as she takes on a less comedic storyline – with fans used to seeing her feature in light-hearted situations.

Jon told The Mirror: “We also have something in store for the Truemans and Kim.
” Tameka Empson has lit up our screens for the last few months with comedic joy, but Kim will find an old ghost from her past comes back to haunt her.
“So we’re gonna see Kim embark on a much more dramatic storyline, which is great as we will see Tameka have another string to her bow because she’s a brilliant actress, so it will be great to see.”
Viewers will have to stay tuned to find out more details on the plot, and what Kim is forced to face.
Many fans have taken to Twitter to speculate over the storyline and what it could all mean, including whether a past character could return.
She is still yet to learn the fate of her partner Vincent Hubbard who went missing and was presumed killed in 2018.
It’s believed he lived to tell the tale after being kidnapped by a corrupt police officer, but it was never really confirmed what happened to him or where he ended up – with it now being three years on.
Actor Richard Blackwood is unlikely to return given he is now in Hollyoaks, but this hasn’t stopped fans questioning if it’s all linked to him and his disappearance.

One viewer tweeted: “This is a storyline that I’m intrigued about. Hopefully it will bring out a softer side to Kim’s character. I hope it’s a welcoming face from her past.”
Another added: “Oh this is exciting I love Kim and can’t wait to see her finally getting a much deserved sl Tameka is going to smash it and I can’t wait to see who the ghost from the past will be hopefully it will be Vincent.”
