Ant McPartlin wedding guests include Amanda Holden but no sign of Simon Cowell

Ant McPartlin is getting ready to marry his fiancée Anne-Marie Corbett on Saturday in front of a group of famous pals.

The TV star will be tying the knot at St Michael Church in the sleepy Hampshire village of Heckfield.

There’s no doubt that the other half of Ant and Dec, Declan Donnelly, will be there to celebrate with the star.

Around 100 people are expected to attend the lavish wedding and guests include Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden and This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby.

Holly’s co-host Phillip Schofield and Saturday Night Takeaway’s Stephen Mulhern will also be there.

However, according to The Sun, music mogul Simon Cowell won’t be part of the special day.

Mirror Online have contacted Ant’s reps for comment.

Amanda Holden is also attending

It comes almost a year after Ant and Dec previously revealed that they once quit Britain’s Got Talent after they got into a huge row with Simon.

According to their book Once Upon A Tyne, they were having a showdown over “editing”.

After filming two “tricky” series, Ant said they warned bosses they were planning to leave the show before flying out to Los Angeles to have it out with Simon.

“The audition days had been long, which in itself we don’t mind, but after filming interviews and interacting with every single act, as well as making jokes, giving reactions and everything else we always do, we found that when the show went out on TV, we hardly seemed to feature in it at all,” it was written in their book.

“We began to feel we were wasting our time doing the auditions because all the work we were doing was ending up on the cutting room floor.”

The lads had been left feeling “sidelined” on the show, but at the same time, were incredibly busy with their own programme, Saturday Night Takeaway.

Dec also wrote that Simon promised things would change and that he kept his word and they did when they returned to filming.

Proving that the threesome moved on from the drama, Simon, who also comments in the book, added: “If they’re p****d off, they’ll tell me to my face” and he adds that he respects that they spoke to him themselves.

Their fallout happened in 2012 and the three have moved past the TV drama.

In 2019, Simon even defended Ant after his drink-drive shame in 2018.

He returned to BGT after a year off to focus on battling his drink problems, and Simon was delighted to have him back.

“It’s like it never happened,” the media mogul responded at the time. “I mean, that’s how – that’s when you know it’s comfortable because it’s just like we’re all back together again, we’re friends.

“These things happen. Yeah, I really did miss him. Then I really felt for Dec last year because we really threw him out there.”
