Adam Peaty’s girlfriend Eiri Munro posted a tongue-in-cheek ‘warning’ to anyone looking to get close to her partner, following the swimmer’s almost-kiss with dance partner Katya Jones
Eiri Munro, 23, took to TikTok earlier this week to poke fun at the drama surrounding her partner and his dance partner Katya Jones.
BBC viewers were stunned last weekend, when the Olympic swimmer appeared to almost lean in for a kiss with his Russian dance partner after their intimate Tango together.
After initially posting a video pretending the cry after witnessing the awkward moment, mum-of-one Eiri has shared another light-hearted post on the popular platform.
Miming to a dubbed voice over, the stunning partner of the Strictly star says: “If I see you with another girl I’ll kill her”— running her thumb across her throat during the parody clip.
The 23-year-old captioned the TikTok: “I could do with some acting lessons.”
As TikTok users speculated in the comments about the update from the star’s girlfriend, one wrote: “She literally got him to sign up for the show. There’s no drama, stay safe tho.”

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left gobsmacked as the professional swimmer seemed to lean to kiss Katya after their intimate performance to Fleetwood Mac’s hit, Tango in the Night last Saturday night.
Proving she has a good sense of humour, Eiri took to TikTok shortly after the scenes aired to share her reaction to the infamous almost-kiss.
In her now viral post, the mum-of-one used the trending sound of a whining baby and scrunched up her face as if she was crying and wailing.
Above the clip, watched by over 7 million people, she wrote: “Watching your boyfriend almost kiss another woman on live tv… Finding out 10 million people also watched it live.”
The so-called ‘Strictly curse’ has impacted a number of celebrities over the years, including Ricky Whittle, Matt Di Angelo and even Adam’s partner Katya.
Speaking with HELLO! Magazine earlier this week, Katya praised the dad-of-one for putting in the hours during rehearsals and building connections.
“I’ve worked with athletes before and they’re always prepared but I remind Adam that everyone else is doing 40 to 50 hours a week too and putting in 100 percent and it really shows,” she told the publication.
“It’s not just about the steps and hard work; it’s also the connection and the feeling you leave people with,” she explained.
Adam took to Twitter to dismiss rumours and gossip last weekend, as the inevitable chat about the ‘Strictly curse’ began to trend.
“My favourite dance so far. Thank you to everyone who has sent supporting messages! I loved it,” Adam tweeted shortly after his much-talked about performance.
“To everyone who wants to see what they want, your comments have real life consequences.
“I will not be overcome or lowered by your gossip. Protect your energy.”
On Monday, following the drama over the weekend, the pair were back to business as they prepared for this weekend’s live show.
