The best High Street jobs up for grabs now in Birmingham

Shops are recruiting staff once again as they prepare to reopen as lockdown eases. From Monday (April 12) high street shops will be able to reopen.

And in Birmingham businesses are busy recruiting staff. Jobs up for grabs include manager positions, assistant store roles, catering assistant jobs and senior sales assistant positions.

Boots

Based: Bullring and Grand Central

Boots in the Bullring is looking for an assistant store manager..

The company is offering a competitive salary and pension scheme and a staff discounts scheme which Boots says is one of the best in the UK.

Charity Cancer Research UK is advertising for a retail store manager at its shop in Erdington.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day operational running of your store, guiding volunteers and organising and running creative fundraising events for your store.

You will need knowledge of high street fashion retail and experience managing a diverse team of people.

Salary is between £18,000 and £21,375 per year and there are 25 holidays per year. There is a pension scheme, season loan tickets and deals at restaurants.

To be successful in this role you’ll have the commercial awareness to deliver sales and meet deadlines combined with ability to plan and prioritise.
