Former Ex On The Beach star and Midlands footballer Ashley Cain told fans that his baby daughter could have just “days to live”.
Tiny Azaylia has been battling a rare form of leukaemia since her birth in August last year.
The former footballer, who played for Coventry and Tamworth, said doctors made the devastating announcement after discovering more tumours.
He updated fans on his Instagram page on Thursday in a long video clip.
Ashley revealed a CT scan had revealed the “very big” tumours on her brain.
He told fans: “So last week we had the bone marrow test and the lumbar puncture and bloods taken to send t Singapore in the hope that they could create therapy to save Azaylia’s life.
“Then we had to have a CT scan on her head and the results came back the next day to say she’s got two very big tumours on her brain.
“They also said that the chemotherapy that is usually given to treat leukaemia in the spine or the brain will not be available because she has too much pressure with these tumours.
“If they tried to go through the spinal tap it would kill her. At that point, our world came down. Consultants said that they think she’s only got one, two days to live, it could even be that night.”
He went on to reveal the specialist treatment he and girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee had been pinning their hopes on in Singapore could not go ahead as Azaylia’s disease is too rare.
Full of emotion, the reality star was close to tears as he explained how his daughter had gone through so much since she was just eight weeks old.
He said the couple were taking her back home so they could spend time their remaining time together.
He added: “For the last part of her life I just want to take her home. See her like a baby and give her the best rest of her life ever.”
