Nicki Minaj seems to have reignited Crocs fever across the nation after she shared a steamy nude photo featuring the famously comfortable footwear on Monday.

The 38-year-old rapper and singer left little to the imagination in photos taken on a pink set that showed her covering her seemingly nude figure with pink heart-shaped pillows while wearing hot pink Crocs.

After her sultry snap went live, there was reportedly a 4,900 percent surge in Crocs sales, according to Page Six.

Although Nicki didn’t appear to have any clothing on in her photos, she added plenty of sparkle with multiple diamond chains dangling from her throat, along with luxury wristwatches and glowing anklets.

But it was the bedazzled Jibbitz, shoe charms for her Crocs, that particularly stood out.

Among the lustrous designs were multiple Chanel double-C logos, which matched the Chanel designs of the office set.

After she posted her Instagram photos, the Crocs website reportedly crashed.

Crocs is among the companies that have recorded record profits in 2020 amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, when many people turned to more comfortable clothing, especially those working from home.

In February, the Crocs‘ statement to investors announced record growth in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The company had record revenue in the past year with $1.4 billion, which was a 12.6 percent increase over the previous year.

Questlove, the drummer and mastermind of The Roots, made a statement at this year’s Academy Awards ceremony, which he was the DJ for, with a pair of gold Crocs.

He showed off the sparkling rubbery shoes with an otherwise modest all-black suit while hitting the red carpet.

‘I’m tired of suffering while stunting,’ he said on Instagram after showing off the low-key footwear.
