Brooke Shields and her husband of 20 years Chris Henchy took a walk through New York City‘s West Village neighborhood on Sunday.
The couple appeared to be enjoying their stroll as she leaned on the movie producer while also using a cane.
It has been a few months since the Suddenly Susan actress broke her femur while working out at a gym.

Shields, 55, was dressed in an oversized dark blue hoodie that kept her comfortable in the cool temperatures.
She complemented her cozy top with a set of light denim jeans and a pair of white sneakers with multicolored laces.
Her beautiful light brown hair cascaded onto her shoulders and backside, and she wore a pair of aviator-style glasses during her walk.
The Mr Pickles voice actress notably used the assistance of a cane to help her stroll down a calm sidewalk with her husband.

Henchy kept it casual in a light brown cardigan sweater that was worn on top of a stark white t-shirt.
In addition to a pair of light gray jeans and a set of Adidas sneakers, the 57-year-old screenwriter also wore dark sunglasses during his time with his wife.
Although Shields was seen wearing a facial covering, her spouse was not spotted with a protective mask.
The two have been romantically linked since 1999 when they met on the Warner Bros studio lot.

They became engaged the following year and tied the knot in 2001.
Prior to making things official with the Impractical Jokers: The Movie director, Shields was married to tennis superstar Andre Agassi from 1997 until 1999, although they had dated ever since 1993.
The former supermodel and her husband share two daughters named Rowan and Grier, aged 17 and 15, respectively.
The pair’s walk comes just a few months after the actress broke her femur in an accident during a visit to a gym.

During an interview with People, the Pretty Baby actress spoke about having to re-learn how to walk again, and has said she felt ‘helpless’ at times.
She told the media outlet that during the early stages of her recovery process, ‘for the first time in my entire life, I thought, “I can’t power through this.'”
However, Shields has remained committed to getting better and noted that her occupation as an actress has inadvertently prepared her for the trials that she has faced since the accident occurred.

‘I’m the only one that’s going to be able to get through this…My career has actually been like that as well. One door gets slammed in my face and I search for another,’ she said.

She said, ‘This is my journey, and if it took me breaking the largest bone in my body, then recovery is something I want to share. We have to believe in ourselves and encourage one another.
‘There’s no other way to get through life, period,’ Shields added.
