The local companies making more for our region

Keeping a business on course isn’t easy, especially during unprecedented times like 2020. However, Leicestershire has seen an enormous sense of enthusiasm and spirit from businesses that have kept our regional economy afloat.

To honour the hard work and thank the entrepreneurs, companies and organisations for their ingenuity and dedication, the LeicestershireLive Business Awards, in association with Champions UK plc, will reward countless local businesses with awards and titles.

The big awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, September 16 at the Maher Centre. For more information, take a look at the online hub. Please contact Michelle Roberts at [email protected] for tickets.

The event has five headline sponsors this year: Freeths, Mazars, Janine Edwards Wealth Management, De Montfort University and Diginius.

The Excellence in Manufacturing Award, sponsored by Samworth Brothers, celebrates the companies upholding the manufacturing traditions of the local area, while continuing to strengthen the regional economy. All finalists demonstrate a dedication to manufacturing excellence with an emphasis placed on quality, sales performance, sustainability and investment.

Its manufacturing process sees the company implore a strong pest monitoring system with temperature controls to ensure bacteria is killed and that staff hygiene is at the highest level.
